Top 10 INSPIRING MOVIE QUOTES FOR ENTREPRENEURS !

Movies are not always bang-bang or re-union of brothers , friends and sons and not always be full of  kisses , roses and fights with guns…..Why am i relating movies to Entrepreneurship?Sometimes you will find a line, an action sequence, perhaps a scene that is sure to inspire you, be with you for a long time and , most importantly, Change you.
Following are the lines/scenes that inspire ‘THE’ qualities in an Entrepreneur – BELIEVING in yourself, CREATIVITY and COURAGE.
Let me start with the lines from the animated film, ROBOTS, that i liked and made me believe in myself
NUMBER 10. Theme: You are born to succeed.

* ROBOTS –” Remember, whether a bot is made
of new parts, old parts or spare parts…
…you can shine
no matter what you’re made of
.

NUMBER 9. Theme: Dealing with Failure.

* DRIVEN—- A racer just looses his race and then quotes “Everybody FALLS, all that matters is how fast you GETUP.”

NUMBER 8. Theme: Finding the thing you love.

Girl Next Door-- There is a scene where the hero has to deliver a speech on ‘Moral fiber’ and it is as follows,

Now I know that moral fiber’s all about finding that one thing you really care about. That one special thing that means more to you than anything else in the world…… And when you find her, you fight for her,You risk it all…..Because in your heart you know, that the juice is worth the squeeze

NUMBER 7. Theme: Be a Maverick and have the power of independent thought to guide you in your decision making process.

An entrepreneur is a maverick. What he sees is something those around them can hardly fathom. These quotes inspire us to think for ourselves and be individualistic.

* DEAD POETS SOCIETY-— Robin William plays a teacher who preaches that one must do what one likes to do and feels good doing it.

No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.

There is a time for daring and a time for caution, and a wise man knows which is called for.
I thought the purpose of education was to learn to think for yourself.

NUMBER 6. Theme: Work as a team and make it big for yourself and those around you.

From the movie Gladiator: This is particularly true regarding team work.

Maximus: You can help me. Whatever comes out of these gates, we’ve got a better chance of survival if we work together. Do you understand? If we stay together we survive.

Maximus: Brothers, what we do in life… echoes in eternity

and in another context Maximus says, ” Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so.

NUMBER 5. Theme: Have the courage to go all out and live your dream.

These quotes are from the movie, “The World’s Fastest Indian” starring Anthony Hopkins.

Tom: Aren’t you scared you’ll kill yourself if you crash?
Burt Munro: No… You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

Burt Munro: If you don’t follow your dreams, you might as well be a vegetable.

Burt Munro: If you don’t go when you want to go, when you do go, you’ll find you’ve gone. NUMBER 4. Theme: Think BIG.
This one is from the movie “SeaBiscuit.”

He may have been down,
but he wasn't out.

He may have lost a few,
but he didn't
let it get to him.
We could all learn
a lick or two
from this little guy.
Oh, and by the way,
he doesn't know he's little.
He thinks he's
the biggest out there.
See, sometimes
when the little guy, doesn't know
he's a little guy,
he can do great big things.

NUMBER 3. Theme: Be different and original.

This quote is from the movie “A Beautiful Mind“.

This is what every entrepreneur should think. How is the entrepreneur’s idea/product different, effective from the run off the mill kind of ideas/product.

Nash: Find a truly original idea. It is the only way I will ever distinguish myself. It is the only way I will ever matter.

NUMBER 2. Theme: Exploit your inner resources and achieve greatness.

From the film *Coach Carter—-Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone.

And finally, we come to the most inspiring movie quote on this list.
NUMBER 1. Theme: Ignore the negativity around you.

The Pursuit of Happyness-– A Father (will smith) to his son “Hey. Don’t ever let somebody tell you… You can’t do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream… You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it.

This is my personal favorite:

One of the very good influential lines from the film i liked most *RATATOUILLE —The final lines of Anton Ego (the ruthless critic ) “In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau’s famous motto: Anyone can cook. But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.

If you have any comments or better quotes to inspire, you are welcome. What are your lines from the movies for entrepreneurs?
