Indian Philosophy and Entrepreneurship

The word “ENTREPRENEUR” has roots in the french language and loosely it translates as some one who starts something new. Today, most people think of entrepreneurs as individuals who start their own business but popular misconceptions persist.
Entrepreneur is essentially a visualizer and an actualizes. He can visualize something, and when he visualizes it, he sees exactly how to make it happens. Entrepreneur
must select the ways that suit him but rather than look for the best ways.
Entrepreneur must posses good thinking abilities. As we know good thinkers see possibilities where others see only dead ends. The famous saying goes-”Intelligence is something we are born with. Thinking is a skill that must be learned. Creative thinking is not a talent, it is a skill that can be learned. It empowers people by adding strength to their natural abilities which improves teamwork, productivity and where appropriate profits.”by Edward de bono.
TAT TVAM ASI:
You are that (supreme). Every body can make himself a genius.
AHAM BRAHMASMI:
I have immense potential
I can make the impossible possible.
ATMANO MOKSHAYA JAGAT HITAYA CA:
For my personal growth
For the welfare of the world, synchronize your private benefits with public benefits.
These three are the basic principles to improve your management skills as an entrepreneur. Today there are many professionals and industrialists who are great achievers but are unfortunately suffering from stress, competition, jealousy and psychological problems. On the other hand there are many who are content and happy but are not achievers. What is needed today is a combination of these two qualities. One should be a great achiever and at the same time should live a peaceful life.
The world we live is a combination of good and bad. Every one may not encourage you and at the same time every one may not criticize you. As a famous saying goes-”The way to develop the best that is in a person is by appreciation and encouragement. There is nothing else that so kills the ambitions of a person as criticism” by Charles Sehwab. However pay attention to any hint of criticism from people who know you well and those who mean well for you.
