After witnessing a dip in PC sales, Dell the world’s third-largest PC maker has put all of its effort to acquire Wyse Technology Inc. This move is to enhance their client hardware portfolio. This acquisition will help Dell to expand their enterprise solutions portfolio, thereby allowing it to withstand the stiff competition from HP (Hewlett-Packard) and some other prominent players. The financial terms behind the deal are not yet officially disclosed. Dell believes that this strategic acquisition will fetch earnings in second half of fiscal 2013.Now Dell can use the software tools for desktop virtualization and Web-based computing environments from Wyse, to offer complete package for enterprise consumers.
