It has been a little over a year since Bharat Entrepreneurs.com has come into existence. What started off a blog featuring exclusive content on entrepreneurs is now a fully blown business news site. Admittedly, the primary reason as to why this blog has taken this turn was that there was not enough material that could be covered which was interesting enough to our readers. By focusing on business news, it was easier not to run out of interesting topics to cover. We are making sure to update the site as frequently as possible without losing our enthusiasm. Right now, it has been a pretty bumpy road to reach our 200th post. There were times where we felt that the steam had run out of our blogging machine.

Common wisdom says that most businesses fail. Many Blogs too fail after 3 months. I am glad that we did not. The good thing about blogging prolifically is that we are now ranking well for many search terms.

We are averaging around 500 page views per day and we are hoping to crack the alexa top 100,000 list within the next 6 months.

Right now, we are setting our targets on the 500th blog post and then finally 1000th blog post. We really hope we reach that milestone. 2009 has been a fantastic year so far.(15 days aint much) Hope it continues to be good.

With serious blogging still a far cry in the present indian blogosphere and Amit Agarwal of labnol.org fame being the only professional blogger, there is still room at the top. Lets hope BharatEntrepreneurs.com gets there.
